So, What's Your Story?

Everyone has a story (and that's not just a song Kathy Lee Giffords sings for the 7th hour of the Today Show).   Somewhere, somehow, you decided this is what you wanted to do for a living.  It makes you happy (or at least it should).  I can always tell the people who really love their work, love their business because there's a glimmer in their eye when they talk about it.  The pitch of their voice reflects an excitement, whether they're teaching students to read, or selling bath oils and hand lotion, or repairing cars.   They have a story to tell about what they do and why they do it.

For a lot of people, getting that story told is not their forte.  They're unable to share that same passion they put into their work in their marketing.  And that's because they focus on the "what".  The key is to focus on the "why" and "how" because THAT is what sets each of us apart from all the others in the same field.  It's not what we do, what we sell, but our passion for doing it that makes us unique.  It's what makes potential clients want to choose us over the next person.

I got into this business not because there's a dearth of editors, writers, or graphic designers out there.  There's not.  I know I have plenty of competition.  But I got into it because I have a passion for helping people share their story, whether it's helping them write copy, editing a business report (you'd be surprised how much passion you can put into one of those!), or giving their overall marketing a fresh, new look.

I'd love for you to give me the opportunity to do the same for you.  Drop me a line at
